If I could describe this wedding in a few words, they would be elegant and casual, romantic and fun, modern and rustic. I know those words don’t seem to go together, but you’ll see what I mean!
When Cate and Noah are together, the happiness between them affects everyone around them. Even after being together for over 5 years, they giggle and grin at each other like no one else is around.
These two have such a sweetness about them – the way they interact, they way they laugh, the way they love their families. Their wedding day was relaxed, fun, and full of happy tears!
The drive up to Caratunk took me along winding roads next to a river, with beautiful mountain backdrops. I pulled into the venue, a large wooden cabin surrounded by a forest of trees and a beautiful lake. Family members were bustling around, putting finishing touches on just about everything.
Alex and Danielle’s love story is truly a tale as long as time … at least all the way back to Elementary School! These two actually went to grade school together when they were just kids! Danielle ended up moving away for awhile, but they eventually reconnected 3 years ago.
Rachel and Kurt met as college freshman at University of Maine in Orono more than 6 years ago. They share a love of family and nature, so holding their wedding at Granite Ridge Estate in Norway, Maine, surrounded by mountains and all of their loved ones, was a no brainer.
