I had so many amazing family sessions this Spring, that I couldn’t possibly sum them up in one post! I love providing these images that families will have hanging in their homes for years!
As much as I love the Winter, I was THRILLED when Spring finally arrived in May! There’s something about finally having green grass, flowers blooming, and warmer weather that invigorates the soul!
I love photographing families on the beach, so I was thrilled when Kayla asked me to take some photos of her with her two young daughters.
When I heard it was supposed to be 70 degrees during the second week of April, I knew a beach trip was in order! So I packed my 3 year old (and his friend!) up and headed to Georgetown!
Alex and Sarah were friends of my husband in college, and they stayed in touch over the last few years. So when we found ourselves driving through their home state of Virginia, we had to stop in for a visit so I could meet them and their adorable daughter, Scarlett!
As I reflect back on this year, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. I’m so incredibly thankful for each one of my amazing clients in 2016! Here is one of my favorite posts of the year – my favorite photo from each session I photographed in 2016!
I was so excited to meet little Saanvi after photographing her parent’s maternity session last Fall, as well as their baby shower last winter. At 6 months old, she falls right in that perfect age to photograph babies – when they can sit up, but not crawl away just yet!
I was so excited to see baby Margarite again for this photo session! I did their maternity session last year, and then I had the honor of photographing sweet baby Margarite when she arrived in the hospital! Now, she is a happy and bubbly 8 month old, and it is obvious that she is the light of her parent’s lives!
A few months ago, I noticed some other photographers around the country using one of these gorgeous round swings, and I knew I had to have one! They looked straight out of a whimsical forest full of fairies and pixie dust!
The Browns invited me to their Portland home to photograph her family a few weeks ago. 1 year old Vandor was now a big brother!
