What made weddings in 2018 stand out to me is the pure genuine people that I had the privilege of photographing. There were so many happy tears and warm hugs that filled each wedding day, and my brides and grooms and their loved ones made ME feel part of the family! Alex and Danielle’s love story is truly a tale as long as time … at least all the way back to Elementary School! These two actually went to grade school together when they were just kids! Danielle ended up moving away for awhile, but they eventually reconnected 3 years ago.
Rachel and Kurt met as college freshman at University of Maine in Orono more than 6 years ago. They share a love of family and nature, so holding their wedding at Granite Ridge Estate in Norway, Maine, surrounded by mountains and all of their loved ones, was a no brainer.
On a warm July afternoon, these two were married in a venue close to the bride’s heart. India is the queen of DIY brides. She made almost every part of this day herself, from the cake to the decorations!

After photographing these two several times over the past 2 years as a couple, I was thrilled when they announced that they were expecting! They let me take the reigns and choose the perfect location for their maternity session, and I had been dying to take photos at one of my favorite places in Camden!
I’ve been looking forward to this wedding ever since I met these two at their Portland engagement session last Spring. I’ve never met two people who are more genuine and sweet than they are! Their wedding day was exactly like I had pictured – a day of rejoicing between two families who have known each other for decades!
