As much as I love the Winter, I was THRILLED when Spring finally arrived in May! There’s something about finally having green grass, flowers blooming, and warmer weather that invigorates the soul!
As a Maine wedding photographer, I get the privilege of doing engagement sessions all around our beautiful state. Regan and Steele were my winners of my free Maine engagement session giveaway a few months ago! They told me that they really wanted to do their session somewhere near the coast, and I had been dying to try out this new location!
Chani and her fiance, Zack, live in Arizona, but they are getting married in Maine this summer! Zack’s family lives here, and who wouldn’t want to get married in Maine?!
As I reflect back on this year, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. I’m so incredibly thankful for each one of my amazing clients in 2016! Here is one of my favorite posts of the year – my favorite photo from each session I photographed in 2016!
Jason and Ilea’s love story started when they were friends in Middle School! They reconnected in 2005 and dated, but another 10 years went by before they finally realized they were meant to be together.
When I first heard of this gorgeous new barn venue, I knew I had to see it. The best part is that it’s right in Winthrop – the next town over from where I grew up, and only 15 minutes from where I live now in Augusta!
I love each and every one of my clients. Every now and then, I also enjoy creating something just for fun! I met up with several other Maine photographers this summer and we asked a few of my favorite past clients to model for us! I traveled down to Fort Williams and Portland Headlight in Cape Elizabeth, and we wandered around and found the most perfect lighting. I actually made the bouquet myself, just by combining some flowers from Trader Joe’s and wrapping some ribbon around it! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do! And thank you so much to our model, Dustin and Allison Tribou, and Emily Levasseur!
When Dan and Jalene met while both attending classes at Colby College, I don’t think they ever imagined that five years later, they’d be saying their vows in the campus chapel!
I first met Ilea when I photographer her best friend’s wedding several years ago. In fact, it was one of the first weddings I ever photographed on my own! Since then, I’ve photographed Ilea’s family a few times, so I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her upcoming wedding!
Alex and Kelsey knew they wanted their engagement photos done by the water, and I was excited when they chose Bug Light Park, because I hadn’t been there in years!
