Each year, I have the honor of photographing over 100 portrait sessions – everything from maternity and newborns, adoptions and births, to seniors and extended family sessions! Here are my favorites from 2017!
What is better than taking your 5 year old daughter to the beach on a warm summer evening, and having the most fun together? I was so excited when Chelsea asked me to capture this fun evening she had planned!
Each summer, the Van Ness family travels to Little Cranberry Island, where they spend their days breathing in the fresh ocean air, and taking bike rides down to the beach. But they don’t always end up being there at the same time, so on this unique occasion where the entire family was going to be together, they invited me to come and capture a small piece of their paradise in Maine.
After photographing these two several times over the past 2 years as a couple, I was thrilled when they announced that they were expecting! They let me take the reigns and choose the perfect location for their maternity session, and I had been dying to take photos at one of my favorite places in Camden!
It’s the highest honor when another photographer asks you to take their family photographs. I was thrilled when Deanna contacted me a few months ago. She was coming to Maine with her daughter and boyfriend to visit her family here.
I had so many amazing family sessions this Spring, that I couldn’t possibly sum them up in one post! I love providing these images that families will have hanging in their homes for years!
As much as I love the Winter, I was THRILLED when Spring finally arrived in May! There’s something about finally having green grass, flowers blooming, and warmer weather that invigorates the soul!
I love photographing families on the beach, so I was thrilled when Kayla asked me to take some photos of her with her two young daughters.
Prom is an exciting and fun time for High School Juniors and Seniors! I think we all remember our experience of going to Prom in High School, it’s almost a rite of passage for teenagers, and a loved tradition!
When I heard it was supposed to be 70 degrees during the second week of April, I knew a beach trip was in order! So I packed my 3 year old (and his friend!) up and headed to Georgetown!
