Each year, I have the honor of photographing over 100 portrait sessions – everything from maternity and newborns, adoptions and births, to seniors and extended family sessions! Here are my favorites from 2017!
What an incredible year! It was hard, but I narrowed down my absolute favorites from every wedding and couples session I photographed this year!
Bobby and Sarah came all the way from California to have a destination wedding here in Maine. Their friends and family made the trip as well, enjoying some beautiful September weather here in “Vacationland”. An elegant, modern wedding at Tarry A While Resort in Bridgton, Maine – you’re going to want to see this for yourself!
Trains, antique cars, friends and family from all over the country – wait until you see how perfect this October Boothbay Railway Village wedding was!
What is better than taking your 5 year old daughter to the beach on a warm summer evening, and having the most fun together? I was so excited when Chelsea asked me to capture this fun evening she had planned!
Each summer, the Van Ness family travels to Little Cranberry Island, where they spend their days breathing in the fresh ocean air, and taking bike rides down to the beach. But they don’t always end up being there at the same time, so on this unique occasion where the entire family was going to be together, they invited me to come and capture a small piece of their paradise in Maine.
After photographing these two several times over the past 2 years as a couple, I was thrilled when they announced that they were expecting! They let me take the reigns and choose the perfect location for their maternity session, and I had been dying to take photos at one of my favorite places in Camden!
Dan and Jalene met at Colby College in Waterville in 2011. And that’s where they will say their vows at their wedding this coming July! They live in Boston now, but they knew they wanted to do their engagement session in Maine, and they picked a perfect time of year to do it! Augusta was in full bloom everywhere you looked that day, and the weather was sunny and warm and perfect!
I’ve been dreaming up this styled shoot in my head for sometime now. I dreamed of a bride in a sweeping romantic dress alongside a handsome groom in the middle of a winter wonderland. When I first saw pictures of the Ice Castles, I knew that’s where it had to be. Now I just had to make it happen.
