A beautiful backyard extended family portrait session with the perfect summer light!

The Swain family invited me to photograph them this summer at their family’s home in New Vineyard, Maine. With all the kids and grandkids finally in town at the same time, they wanted to make sure they had some family portraits to remember this time with. They have a beautiful home by the lake with incredible mountain views. Because of the young kids’ sleep schedules, we decided to do the session a little bit earlier in the day, and we were able to find some shade in the backyard. The sun shining through the trees gave us the perfect summer glow!
