Chani and her fiance, Zack, live in Arizona, but they are getting married in Maine this summer!  Zack’s family lives here, and who wouldn’t want to get married in Maine?!

I was thrilled when Chani and Zack asked me to photograph their engagement session.  With the couple being from out of state, and Zack being in the Air Force, they had a small window in which they would be in Maine.  They decided to have me meet them at Smalls Falls in Rangeley, Maine.  It’s a small waterfall tucked away in the woods off a little dirt road.  Smalls Falls had special meaning to the couple, as Zack had taken Chani here several times while they were dating.  After trekking through and over the falls (those two were BRAVE, especially Chani jumping over some rocks in her heels!), we headed to a different part of Rangeley that had some beautiful lakefront views.  The sun set as we finished up the session and said goodbye, but I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this July!
