Alex and Sarah were friends of my husband in college, and they stayed in touch over the last few years.  So when we found ourselves driving through their home state of Virginia, we had to stop in for a visit so I could meet them and their adorable daughter, Scarlett!

Early last summer, my husband and I packed up our 2 year old and started on what ended up being a 9 day road trip down to North Carolina.  Since we were driving through Virginia, Steve’s college friends Alex and Sarah offered for us to stay at their home for the night.  As a thank you, I offered to take a few family pictures of them!  Although it was a cloudy day, we only had to walk across their street to find this gem of a country location.  Their 4 year old daughter, Scarlett, is just adorable and loved getting her picture taken!
