If there’s one word I could use to describe this couple, it would have to be FUN! I never once had to tell them to smile or laugh, because they were already doing that the entire time!

I met up with Carole and John at Silver Sands Beach in Milford, Connecticut.  It was a very, very sunny day and there was hardly any shade anywhere, so we started our session under the one tree we found and then walked to the beach area.  I love how relaxed Carole and John were.  I didn’t have to give them much posing advice – they just made everything feel so natural and easy!  But when I did try to give them some posing suggestions, John liked to take my advice literally, hence some of the hilarious shots below 🙂 I’m so excited to photograph their wedding this September in East Lyme, Connecticut!

I’m not even sure what was happening here … Carole wanted to try out a pose and then it kind of looks like John is imitating an infamous Titanic scene 🙂

John is a CrossFit Trainer, and fitness is very important to both him and Carole!  So it was only natural that they brought their workout clothes to show me some of their best moves!
