Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When I think back to my wedding day, I remember amazing memories.... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me.
I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day.
Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.
Now that you know a little bit about my approach to the wedding day, you can continue reading to find more detailed information about The Wedding Experience!
After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography!
One way I ensure that our brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with my couples. I try my best to make sure that all of my couples are the PERFECT fit for me before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer, and be EXCITED about the whole process with them!

My spouse and I both agree that if we had to do it again, Andrea would be the very first call we'd make, as she was far away the best to work with. She is not just an incredible photographer but an excellent editor, with a great eye for detail and lighting / shot location and can make any sort of setup look absolutely stunning. She is worth every penny and so much more, and I would recommend her and her work for any occasion you want to remember.

She came prepared, was super friendly and kind. Usually I’m nervous getting my photo taken but she was AWESOME! She took the time to get perfect shots. My husband and I get weird when we take photos so she told us how to raise our chins and how to stand. She even showed us some of the shots on the back of her camera so I knew they were going to be great. She sent several of the best pictures to us the next day! She was great and I highly recommend her.

Andrea managed to be so professional yet also so casual and easy-going during the wedding itself that she made us feel very comfortable. AND, even better, we are IN LOVE with the finished product! Her eye for composition, light, color, and ability to capture genuine human emotion is incredible! Stiff, boring wedding photos these are not! We get big smiles on our faces whenever we look at the photos and agree that Andrea was the best vendor we hired.

I cannot stop looking at our wedding photos! My husband and I met with Andrea to discuss how the wedding day would go and she really put our minds at ease, we knew she was going to catch every moment. She is professional, yet so down to earth and easy to talk to. Although our wedding day was 90 degrees and humid, she came early and even stayed longer than she was supposed to! I truly can't thank her enough!!

Andrea was AMAZING! We were so grateful Andrea was able to fly in from Maine to Seattle, WA to be our photographer! She captured every moment and every detail so beautifully, the flow of outdoor colors and our decor was beautiful. She did an amazing job!

Andrea is a friendly, really easy go-with-the-flow type of person. I'm a photographer myself, and we hired Andrea for our wedding. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and she made it fun! She listened to us and met our every need. We got married only yesterday, and she already has sneak peeks for us. When I saw the photos, I cried! I would recommend her to ANYONE!
I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them. Locations within 1 hour of central Maine are included in your package, further locations will incur a fee.
We average 75-100 images per hour that we’re photographing. I love delivering our client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. My full day wedding galleries average 900 images.
Yes! I have photographed over 250 weddings, and have found 8 hours to be right for most couples. Also, you can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.
Yes! I always help my couples come up with a rough draft timeline during our initial booking process. As the wedding day gets closer, we will keep in touch and will have another phone call to finalize details about the day and the timeline so that day runs smoothly!
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the
wedding day. There are parts of the day that I step in to help make sure you are standing in the best light for example, while there will also be other times when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there!
Yes! I teach all of my couples how to pose, model, and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us! My goal is to find which poses are most flattering for you so that you look and feel great.
My Wedding Experience package does include a second photographer for up to 8 hours. I always hire experienced wedding photographers for this! If you're having a smaller wedding, you may not need a second photographer, in which case I can give you a custom quote.
I use a mirrorless Canon R6 for my main camera, and a Canon 5D Mk IV for my backup camera. My main lens is the RF 28-70mm F/2L, but I also have zoom lenses going up to 200mm for those far away shots! I use off-camera flashes for the receptions in low lighting.
I believe I have a unique set of skills which include making all of my clients feel very comfortable (there will never be any awkward silence, I promise!), 15 years of experience in photography and editing, and the ability to really pay attention to the little details!
Once you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, I will send you a contract to sign, and an invoice to pay your retainer fee. The retainer fee is about 30% of the total package price.
