After meeting at a wedding 4 years ago, these two finally got to say ‘I do’ atop one of Maine’s most beautiful mountains!

Jennifer was a bridesmaid at her best friend’s wedding a few years ago. It just so happened that Jenn had never met the bride’s stepbrother (Tyler) before, and they ended up hitting it off. Jenn and Tyler actually went to the same high school, but somehow never met before that day. On their first official date, Tyler brought Jenn a handmade paper rose. On their wedding day, they exchanged roses during their ceremony, which was so sweet! I met them for their engagement session at Sunday River last Fall, where we took some amazing photos at the Country Club and at the covered bridge there. They brought their sweet pup to their engagement session, and he also joined Jenn while she was getting ready at the Grand Summit Hotel on the morning of the wedding. They chose to get married at the top of North Peak at Sunday River. Guests rode the gondola to the top of the mountain, where they were met with sweeping views of Maine’s splendor on a beautifully sunny September day. The reception was help right in the lodge there, where guests danced the night away on the dance floor. The guests were also surprised with a full fireworks show overlooking the mountains, and the night ended with a fun sparkler exit!
